sustainable events for people, places and communities
Eventopolis became in 2024 the first event organisation agency in the Canton of Ticino to be certified according to the ISO 20121, the international standard dedicated to sustainable event management. The certification acknowledges our commitment to reducing environmental impact, valuing people and generating benefits for the communities that host our events.
Sustainability is an integral part of every stage of the event lifecycle: planning, logistics, supplies, delivery and final disposal. Discover how we integrate these principles into our event management services.
Our aim is to place sustainability at the centre of our activities, not as an option, but as a an essential part of our commitment to the future. This is a natural evolution of the standards of responsibility and excellence that characterised Eventopolis' first twenty years of existence and will continue to shape its existence over the next twenty.
Reducing CO2 emissions, using sustainable materials, optimising waste management, and promoting sustainable transport and logistics.
Improvement of working conditions and safety, inclusion and diversity, accessibility of events, and support for local communities hosting our events.
Sustainable economic growth, responsible management of financial resources, and value creation for all stakeholders.
Sustainability is a significant part of Eventopolis' approach to events. Discover our Eventology philosophy:
